The Capitole Theatre

The Capitole Theatre has existed for three centuries. It is situated in Toulouse center, in the Capitole itself. At the beginning, the theatre was a small room which was called "Comedie".
The Capitole theatre was destroyed by a terrible fire on August 10th 1917. Fully renovated in 1996 by architects Yvonnick Corlou and François Linares, and designer Richard Peduzzi, the Capitole has now the appearance of a large theater as in Italy.
The Capitole Theatre is one of the biggest international stages.The theater receives operas, recitals, concerts, comic operas and ballets.
