COMING BACK FROM TOUMUN VII !    

For the seventh edition, TOUMUN took place in Tournefeuille High school with 20 students from the MUN club from FONSORBES on 31 January, 1 and 2^nd February. This mock simulation of the General Assembly of the United NATIONS was particularly appreciated by the Terminale, because it was the last year they could do it and they enjoyed debating with other high school students from the Netherlands, Italy and England. 

Apart from Mathis who was chair and organising the debates, most of the students played the role of Delegates representing a country, and they had to find solutions tackling the issues of the impact of social medias, fighting desertification, promoting disarmament and even facing a crisis situation (pandemic). Elfy and Simon delivered a speech in front of 250 students which was quite a performance, and Simon won the best delegate certificate of his UNEP (environment) Committee. Hugo, Clément and Mathias had also a prize. Congratulations to all the Delegates! 

Now, the MUN club will organise the FONMUN event, a microsimulation, taking place next 10 April with Pibrac, Muret and Tournefeuille. Long life to the MUN club!

RETOUR DE TOUMUN VII !

Pour sa septième édition, TOUMUN s'est déroulée au lycée de Tournefeuille avec 20 élèves du club MUN de FONSORBES les 31 janvier, 1er et 2 février. Cette simulation de l'Assemblée Générale des Nations Unies a été particulièrement appréciée par les Terminales, car c'était la dernière année qu'ils pouvaient le faire et ils ont apprécié de débattre avec d'autres lycéens des Pays-Bas, d'Italie et d'Angleterre. 
Outre Mathis qui présidait et organisait les débats, la plupart des élèves jouaient le rôle de délégués représentant un pays, et devaient trouver des solutions en abordant les questions de l'impact des médias sociaux, de la lutte contre la désertification, de la promotion du désarmement et même en faisant face à une situation de crise (pandémie). Elfy et Simon ont prononcé un discours devant 250 étudiants, ce qui était une véritable performance, et Simon a remporté le certificat de meilleur délégué de son comité UNEP (environnement). Hugo, Clément et Mathias ont également reçu un prix. Félicitations à tous les délégués ! 
Maintenant, le club MUN va organiser l'événement FONMUN, une microsimulation, qui aura lieu le 10 avril prochain avec Pibrac, Muret et Tournefeuille. Longue vie au club MUN !
