• With the internet, we can follow the news ; share pictures and videos ; find a job ; keep in touch with friends. Even if we use the Internet a lot for everything and anything, we still need real people from real life to help us.

  • I perfectly agree with what you say Emma. Although I belong to the "old" generation, I use New Technologies a lot, for work or for personal entertainment, but I really do find human contact and face to face communication unescapable !

• Teenagers don't know the limits of the Internet and it can be dangerous for them. So I think that parents must control their use of the Internet at home.

• In the 80's teenagers didn't have the Internet so they used encyclopedias. I think encyclopedia is more reliable than the internet but now, with the Internet, we can have all the information we want.

• Voici le travail des "old" : - Jeanne: I don’t understand why you don’t do activities in the real life instead of doing these activities in a virtual world. - Camille: teenagers of today create themselves new personalities behind their mobile or on social media. - Justine: and for family life, you just skype them a little time when you have it so if your family live in other countries you can see them. - Aziliz: I don’t like taking photos today because all photos are the same whereas in the 80’s when we had Polaroid, all photos where unique, special. - Julie: when I was young, we didn’t have the Internet so we used encyclopedias. I think encyclopedias are the most reliable sources because now, the teenagers don’t know the limits and the Internet can be dangerous. - Cyann: when I was young, I had record players, with a record in albums (Nirvana, Michela Jackson…) my friends had them too. So you share more with your friends. - Valentin: When I was young, I didn’t have social network and I am still alive LOL ! - Lucas: the world is now so simple, we can find anything from anywhere, it’s too simple, too fast! Whereas the world of today is better on some points like information! But I prefer the world of the 80’s because it was more user-friendly than the world of today : it was funnier. - Léa: : I think technology is bright and useful. However it is necessary not to use it too often. - Jeanne (2): the children now prefer playing with a tablet instead of playing with dolls or little cars. - Valentin (2): when I was young, I had no cellphone nor social media whereas now children have cellphones and use Facebook very early.
