Jack and Nicole had been married for ten years and they had a fifteen year old daughter, Hayley. One day after school, Hayley, as usual, went back home. When she arrived, she discovered her parents lying on the floor in a pool of blood with a gun.  Afraid, she called the police immediately. They arrived five minutes later. Inspector Shane, the policeman of the city, saw the two dead bodies and decided to do the investigation himself. He noticed that Nicole, the dead woman, was wearing a wig without hair underneath it. First, he asked Hayley to answer his questions and she said she didn't know why her mother was wearing a wig. As she said it she looked very sincere. Hayley told Shane that she had noticed some strange behaviour from Carole, the cleaning lady. After this conversation, Shane went to visit the cleaning lady who lived in a flat, in a disadvantaged district. He met her, and during their conversation, she appeared shocked at the news of the death of the couple. They speak about them and Carole mentions that she had noticed several wigs in Nicole's bedroom. Moreover, Shane learns that Carole was in love with Jack because there were many photos of him in her flat. After this beginning to the investigation, Shane returned to his home, where he was living alone.

The next day, Shane went to the autopsy room to find the result of the autopsy. He found out that Nicole had cancer thanks to the blood analysis and that she was having chemotherapy. That is why she was wearing wig… She had lost her hair! Moreover, he finds out that the couple was killed with a gun. After that, he thinks that Carole would have been able to kill Nicole because she was jealous. So, Shane decided to go and find the results of the ADN analysis and there he discovered that there were only Jack’s fingerprints on the gun.  So Jack would thus have killed his wife before himself? But why?

He decided to do an in-depth analysis to learn why Jack had made it so. In the couple’s house, he found a letter and read it. The letter read: "I cannot live if my love is suffering, we will live a better life in another world, the world of peace. Hayley, we love you, we are so sorry, we bequeath you all, and we hope that you will have a good life with love and enjoyment. Once again, we love you forever and always." ...
