THE REASON OF MY LIFE winner#1 ;-)
I woke up that morning and I felt the sunshine on my face, the sun was burning in my eyes. It was May 9th 2018 : my birthday, the birthday of Marguerite. I was happy because that day was my favorite, I visited my friends and had a big party. I was 21 years old; in America it's the majority. First, I saw my parents : they were glad for me because it was time for me to be someone else, a better person for my people. They said too that I was being an adult now. So being an adult meant being free, free to go where we want, anytime. But, if I went where I wanted, I wouldnot live long...
On the next day, in my cocooning bed, the sun woke me up again. I was strange and I felt that my house was cracking. But what ? How was it possible ? Many questions came to my mind and I was lost. My life changed at that moment. My arms were hurting, I could feel my muscles get fatter and fatter and my skin mutate. I wasn't understanding why that was happening to me and especially why now. But then I remembered what my parents had told me the day before, I was becoming an adult. And now I could fly with my own wings. When I started to fly, I had a vision: I saw my life ahead. A whole day, no more. I decided to make the most of it. No time for regrets.
As a caterpillar I had dreamt of that day, as a butterfly I had to live it to the full!
