A long quest
Life in Australia can be dangerous… Alice Spring is a city of mysteries.
Mrs Boop, a police woman, has been inquiring in a series of murders for five long years. Which means that she has been looking for the murderer : it is her main objective, she is obsessed by that, so much so that sometimes she seems mad.
Her inquiries led her on a main track: all the victims were killed in the same manner. They were strangled and the murderer drew an “
M” on their bodies. That’s why Mrs Boop who is called Tracy, decided to name the unknown murderer “
Mister M”.
On a Sunday morning, Steeve, a teenager, called Mrs Boop to tell her that he had just discovered his friend's body dead. As all the victims of
Mister M, Tracy found an “
M” on the right arm of the poor young man.
A few days later in the middle of the night, while our detective was working, she had a revelation - and what about Steeve ?
She thought that there might be a link between the victims and the teenager.
Indeed, Steeve knew them all.
Tracy decided that she would dig further down.
At that moment she believed she was getting closer to the truth...
All the evidence are leading me into the same direction : there are no traces, no DNA prints, there is just a sign... M…
It must be a supernatural thing, like a spirit.
So… to find out the truth, I should accept the key of the plot resides in something impossible !!
Some days later, Tracy realised that the inquiry didn’t really lead her on Steeve’s tracks. She was actually in a dead end. All her friends were telling her that she should be working less because she was becoming completely crazy !
As she became aware that these five years had been gnawing her, she decided to stop her quest and accept that it was leading her nowhere...

“What am I doing here ?” she cried.

“Mom ! You had an accident five years ago and you fell into a coma!”

“But, who are you ?”

“Mom, my name’s Mathew !”

“Mister M... ?”
